Chronograph
Showcased on the dial as two or three sub dials, the stop/start pusher operates the sweeping seconds hand - some of which feature a flyback function for resetting and starting a new timing.
Tachymeter scale
Helps to measure either distance or speed based on the time travelled over a fixed distance. The tachymeter scale is usually placed on the bezel or around the edge of the dial.
High-contrast dial
Enhanced visibility of features like the sweeping seconds hand and chronograph counters makes the watch easy to read at high spends with just a quick glance.
Rally style straps
Crafted from a durable material like rubber or leather, perforated holes on the surface of the strap allow for airflow under the watch while wearing racing gear. Whilst metal bracelets crafted from stainless steel or lightweight titanium allow for long-lasting wear on the wrist.

Originally designed as a racing chronograph, the OMEGA Speedmaster Racing has been worn on the wrists of high-speed racing drivers for over 60 years.
Inspired by the dashboard of Italian cars, the OMEGA Speedmaster was loved by motorsport and rally drivers for its extremely precise chronograph performance as well as its daring aesthetics. In 1996, OMEGA launched a Speedmaster model with racing legend Michael Schumacher. It featured the iconic Racing Dial and was presented in a rubber box that resembled the tyres of an F1 racing car.
